Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 40 reviews.
I like the book, but unfortunately mine arrived damaged. For a book so expensive, I'd hope it would be packaged better. I've spent the last 3 weeks emailing PhoneArena trying to get a replacement but have received no response. I'm posting this review as a last resort in the hopes I can get their attention and get an undamaged version of my purchase.
I have received the book - it is amazing. Photos are very detailed, quality is outstanding.
Yet, leaving not so good review, is the only way how to connect with customer support. It has been 2 weeks, 3 different ways of reaching out and no responses.
Book was improperly packed and damaged during the delivery!
Hope to hear back from someone!
Great for mobile nostalgia fans. Beautifully designed, filled with stunning high-resolution photos and specs that trace the evolution of phones across different eras. It’s fun to flip through and really captures how quickly mobile tech has changed.
However I’m disappointed to see the absence of several phones that truly shaped their moment—like the T-Mobile Sidekick, LG Chocolate, LG Voyager/ENV3/Wing, and Samsung Juke/Alias 2. Including some of these cult favorites would have made the lineup feel even more complete. I also didn’t care for the added opinions from certain tech influencers; the visuals and historical context are strong enough without them.
A Version 2 with a wider selection of iconic devices would be incredible and make this already great book feel definitive and complete.
Love the book. Been waiting over a year for it. Wasn't a huge fan of the price and shipping to Canada but I would still say it's worth it and 10/10. Love the history and the quality and the details. Wish it had more pixel phones but overall great book.
I hoped there were more Nokia or phones that innavated in the past, no Sony Ericsson, I think all the phones were pretty obvious, a lot of iphones that we all know
I have been really enjoying the book so far. Learniing about cell phones from the past has been so interusting to me. I havee had multiple cell phones, But some in the book are cool.
Delivery was quick and easy. The book is very detailed with lots of photos as well. It's very interesting to reminisce over old phones that I used to own.
The book is great but it came with mangled corners because the packaging for such a heavy book is just a carboard box with some paper thrown into it which serves no purpose in protecting the book from getting its corners smashed.. Bit disappointed.
Great high quality book. Looks great on any coffee table and was a great read for anyone who has a love for technology. Brought back so many good memories of when life seemed much simpler.
The book is very high quality. I just wish they had more phones to review as some like the HTC Evo 4G was omitted. Love to see a follow up book going deep into the history of each OEM. Great start though.
